How to use your Online Wallet
Go back to BrandsGateway.
We at BrandsGateway, have implemented a new feature in order to ease and fasten the order placement.
Here are the steps on how to use the Online Wallet and Top up your balance.
Top-Up Your Balance
The first step is to go to the tab Wallet that is located under My Account and click on** Top-up Balance**.
The minimum amount that can be deposited is 500 euro.
Then type the wanted amount and click on Add to Wallet.
Please check the box : I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions and then click on Place Order.
You will get a notification confirming that your Balance Top-Up request has been received.
You will be able to find the Top-up Order under the tab Orders. Please keep in mind that the order status will be On-hold until we receive the funds in the BrandsGateway bank account.
Only then the status will change to Completed and you will be able to use your Online Wallet Balance.
Furthermore, there also won’t be any Wallet Activity until we receive the wallet top up.
Once we receive the money, the Wallet Top-up will be shown under the Wallet Activity.
It is also shown under Overview.
Apart from this, you will also receive an email, informing you that your top-up amount has been successfully credited. Please note there are no restrictions on the number of top-ups.
Use Your Wallet to Pay for an Order
Once your Online Wallet Balance is available to you, you can proceed to place an order. On the checkout page you will see the option to choose the payment via the Wallet or choose another payment gateway. After choosing the payment method, please check the box on : I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions and click on Place Order.
Then you will receive confirmation that the order has been received.
The Status of the paid Order changes automatically to Processing.
You can find both the Wallet Top-up and the paid Order by using the Online Wallet under Orders.
Insufficient funds to pay for an order.
In case of not having the sufficient funds to make the order, and yet you still choose the Wallet as a payment option and then click on Place Order, you will see a message on top of the screen and not be able to process the payment for the order.
You can then proceed with a Wallet Top-up, but just a heads-up, bank transfers can take from 1-3 days to process the top-up depending on the location.
Refunds to Wallet.
For order refunds, customer support can refund directly to your Wallet Balance, regardless of the original payment method:
Paid by PayPal: Refund directly to PayPal or to your Wallet.
Paid by Bank Transfer: Refund directly to your bank account or to your Wallet.
Paid by Wallet: Refunds will be credited back to your Wallet only.
After the refund you will instantly see a change in your Current Wallet Balance.
Apart from this, there are several more fields you can follow:
Total Top-up Amount = All top-ups that you have ever done.
Total Spent Amount = Total amount that was spent on placing orders via Wallet.
Total Refunded to Wallet = Total amount from orders that were refunded to Wallet.
You can also see under the Wallet Activity all previous transactions done through the wallet.
