Using Tags to Filter Products in Smart Collections on Shopify

When creating smart collections in your Shopify store, you have the option to filter products by tags. This allows you to automate your collections and ensure that only relevant products are included.

To help you build accurate and customized collections, we have prepared a sheet that contains all the available tags that can be used.

➡️ Click here to access the tag sheet

Important Information

Please review the following details before setting up your collections:

  1. Category tags and sub-categories

If you add a main category tag to a collection, all related sub-categories and sub-sub-categories will automatically be included.

To create a more targeted collection, we recommend adding sub-sub-category tags instead.

  1. Gender-specific collections

To create collections based on gender, make sure to add the corresponding gender tags:

Men

Women

Unisex

  1. Updated category taxonomy

Please note that the category taxonomy has been recently updated.

Older products may still contain the previous tags.

All newly imported products use the updated tag structure.

To ensure consistency across your collections, we suggest updating your collection rules using the new tags listed in the sheet.

Example: if you want to add Running sneakers for men as a collection into your store, the tags applied should be: Men, Shoes, Sneakers, Athletic - Sneakers - Shoes / Men, Athletic - Sneakers - Shoes
