Can I use a different currency for my store?

You can operate your dropshipping business in any currency that fits your needs.

The default currency used by BrandsGateway is EUR, meaning that product prices and shipping costs are initially displayed and imported in euros.


However, during the import process, you can choose the currency you prefer for your store. Our plugin will automatically convert the product and shipping costs from euros into the currency you select.

To change your currency, please go to Settings > Account Info, select your preferred currency, and click Save.


You also have the option to enter the exchange rate you want to use. This allows you to control the conversion rate used for product pricing based on your own business preferences.


Afterward, BrandsGateway’s pricing rules will then use the converted product costs to calculate and set your product prices accordingly.





Change the store currency within your website:


For Shopify:


  1. Go to Shopify Admin
  2. Click Settings (bottom left)
  3. Select Store details
  4. Scroll to Store currency
  5. Click Change currency
  6. Select the new currency
  7. Click Save


⚠️ Important: Shopify only allows changing the store currency before you make your first sale. If you already made sales, Shopify may require contacting their support to change it.


WooCommerce Users:


To change your base currency in WooCommerce, you need to do it through your WooCommerce store setup settings.


  1. To change your shop currency settings, go to WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency Options.
  2. Select your desired currency from the Currency drop-down.
  3. Save your changes.
