The installation process of BrandsGateway’s app for Wix is a simple 3-step process.

1. Installing BrandsGateway’s app for Wix

From your Wix Admin Panel, access the Wix App Market and search for BrandsGateway;





Select BrandsGateway App and click on 'Add to Site';



Agree to the permissions required and Wix’s App Market terms of use by clicking on 'Agree & Add';



Select our dropshipping program, and then choose a plan that best suits your business.





Complete the purchase.



2. Setting up as dropshipper

Once you have finalised the purchase, you will be able to access BrandsGateway’s app under your Apps on your Wix Dashboard.



Register as Dropshipper

Insert your email address inside the *Customer email field and click on 'Validate API';

Note: For order automation to work, the email address used must be registered on BrandsGateway as a customer. If you haven’t registered yet, please register for free at https://brandsgateway.com/register



General Settings

Choose the General Settings for your store, such as Currency, Language, and Price Rounding.



'Include Brand To Product Name' - Select this feature if your wish the brand name to be included inside the title of the products;



'Auto Create Brand Categories' - Select this feature if you wish to automatically create a category for each brand.



Synchronization Settings

Synchronization settings show what features will be influenced by BrandsGateway. For example, if you want to change descriptions or titles, or translate them in your own language, you need to disable the 'Titles' and 'Descriptions' settings. Otherwise, once the system gets updated, products will be back to their state as in BrandsGateway. However, we recommend keeping the 'Categories' sync.



Brands Filter

Here you can choose to include or exclude certain Brands.



Vendors Filter

Here you can choose to include or exclude certain Warehouses.



3. Importing our products to your Wix website

At the next step, you can start importing our inventory to your store.

Category Mapping

Category Mapping is the process of matching BrandsGateway’s main categories and subcategories of products with your Wix Collections. Category Mapping is needed for the import of our products to your store. Once accessed BrandsGateway’s app > Settings > Category Mapping, you can select our category layout on the left (what you want to import) and connect to your Wix collections on the right. Products from selected categories will be imported to your
Store.



Previously created collections on your Wix store will appear under the ‘Dropshipper Category’ field.



- If you choose the option to ‘Select All Categories’, the system will automatically list all BrandsGateway’s existing categories on the left side under ‘Retailer Category’, and you simply need to match them with your Wix Collections under ‘Dropshipper Category’, add your desired markup and a fixed shipping value (optional). Click ‘Save’ for the import process to start.



Another way of importing the products, is to match all categories with ‘All products’ under ‘Dropshipper Category’ and afterward sort the products manually to your Wix Collections.

Price Markup and Fixed shipping costs

In category mapping, you can add markup for each category and a fixed shipping cost to be included in a product price.



Your selling price can be calculated with the following formula:
Wholesale price (BrandsGateway price) * Markup + Shipping cost = Your selling price

Example: €100 *2 + 20 = €220



You can always change markup and add a fixed shipping cost that will be added to the item price. Prices will be updated within 24 hours.

Once you are done, click on start import. The importing process takes several hours.
